Grant Asplund of Structured Communications will be highlighting security considerations IT managers should be thinking about as virtualization deployments expand. The discussion will cover topics such as:

Grant Asplund is Executive Director, Business Development – Advanced Solutions for Structured Communications. Previous to joining Structured, Mr. Asplund was Head of Market Development and led sales for Altor Networks, a Silicon Valley start-up that introduced the industry’s first purpose-build virtual firewall in 2008. Beginning his career in the technology industry in 1983, Grant has represented multiple companies including driving MetaInfo to develop SAFE DHCP TM and as Worldwide Senior Product Evangelist for Check Point.



Lunch: Lunch will be provided for current ISSA members. Visitors will be asked to pay $5 for lunch.

Membership Stipulation


All ISSA meeting participants must be current members (paid or trial membership) of ISSA, and/or the Greater Spokane ISSA Chapter. Repeat visitors who are not members should be prepared to pay a $10 fee to attend meetings (to offset the associated cost of some events) or will be asked to fill out a trial membership application on site in lieu of the fee. First time visits are complimentary and guests are highly encouraged to attend.
